Senior Pastor: Clyde A. Harris, Jr.

Before founding Abundant Life Ministries Community Church, Pastor Clyde and Lady Denise Harris were installed by Apostle Wade Douglas Sloss on May 3, 2015, to serve as pastors of Lighthouse Community Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.

With unwavering faithfulness and commitment, Pastor and Lady Harris, along with their two children, Hadassah and Daniel, traveled weekly from Muncie to Indianapolis to fulfill the work of ministry. The congregation started with 12-15 members, a small but close-knit community, most of whom regularly traveled in two to three vehicles from Muncie to attend the weekly worship services.

Over the course of three years, this season of pastoral leadership served as a meaningful time of preparation, growth, and spiritual development for Pastor Harris. As he continued to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he remained obedient to the instructions of the Lord and faithful to the vision God had placed within him.

Through his obedience and steadfast leadership, it became evident that God’s hand, anointing, and approval were upon his life and the ministry. Under Pastor Harris’ leadership, the congregation continued to grow, eventually creating ongoing parking challenges. Pastor Harris would often describe this as “a good problem to have,” recognizing it as a visible sign of God’s favor and the ministry's continued growth.

Birth of the Ministry

Abundant Life Ministries Community Church (ALMCC) was officially founded in 2018 by Pastor Clyde A. Harris Jr., a visionary leader and dedicated servant of God with a heart for ministry, community outreach, and spiritual development. Rooted in the mission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and foster holistic growth, the church has become a vibrant center for worship, discipleship, and service. The vision for Abundant Life Ministries Community Church was born out of a desire to create a ministry that reflects God's abundance with balance in every area of a person's life. From its inception, the church has focused on teaching the Word of God with clarity and revelation, equipping the saints for ministry, and reaching the lost with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Harris would often say, "Where He leads, He guides, and where He guides, He provides." In September 2023, a church showing was made available to Pastor Harris, and, being sensitive to the Holy Spirit, he was confident that this was where He and the congregation were to relocate. Through the challenge, Pastor Harris remained assured of what the Lord God had spoken, and in February 2024, Abundant Life Ministries Community Church purchased a 14,000-square-foot church property at 5353 Millersville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. One year and one month later, after some renovations, the congregation moved into its new church home. The first prayer meeting was on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, and the first Sunday morning worship was on March 23, 2025.

Legacy and Vision

Today, ALMCC continues to thrive under Pastor Harris's leadership. With a heart devoted to the Kingdom of God, Pastor Harris remains committed to soul-winning, discipleship, and cultivating a church that operates in spiritual power and practical love. The church continues to grow. As the church looks to the future, Abundant Life Ministries Community Church stands on the Word of God and scripture John 10:10 —"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." With this declaration at its core, ALMCC remains steadfast in its mission to be a beacon of light, life, and hope to the city of Indianapolis and beyond.
